Cask Catalyst provides consulting to early-stage food and beverage companies. Through their decades of combined market knowledge, they’ve helped numerous name brands grow into flourishing companies.

01 Logo Design

Initial logo concepts were focused on the literal meaning of ‘catalyst’ - 2 forces or elements coming together to create a reaction or something new. This is shown in the first concept with the 2 separate drops merging to create a reaction.

With the company having a heavy focus on the beverage industry, it made sense to develop a concept based on fluids. The client decided to push forward with this design as it resonated the most with their work.

The final look and feel landed on an overhead view of the former - maintaining the offset ripple effect but visually looking less like a vinyl record.
