General Web UI/UX
Below are a handful of comparisons between legacy desktop and tastytrade's web2 platform. Using legacy as a foundation, I spent numerous months updating components for a more cohesive look and feel, addressing spacing constraints across multiple screen sizes, and generally improved UI to have a more modern touch.

Structurally, the trading experience remains largely the same, since much of the displayed information is essential to the workflow. However, significant effort went into refining the overall UI to feel more breathable and clean, while conserving space in an already information-dense platform.

Keeping up with the momentum, the changes applied to every page and feature of the web2 platform with one mindset - clean it up, build consistency, and build a smoother trading experience for the customer.
Conclusion
With a complete refresh and launch of the web2 platform, it enabled customers to make their own trading decisions much more efficiently. Help Desk tickets dropped as customers were no longer getting stuck in dead-end and confusing work flows. Ultimately, this major refinement of the platform drew in wide variety of customers as the accounts grew to over half a million in 2 years.
